About James Mirazita, MD

James A. Mirazita, MD, DABA, ABIPP, is one of the pain management physicians at Pain Solutions, with locations in Nashua, Gilford, and Concord, New Hampshire. Dr. Mirazita makes sure to employ the latest techniques in pain management to get his patients back to their daily lives. 

Dr. Mirazita began his medical career at the Ohio State University College of Medicine, under the U.S. Air Force Health Professions Scholarship Program. He completed his general surgery internship at the David Grant U.S. Air Force Medical Center in Fairfield, California. Following his internship, he completed an anesthesiology residency with a concentration in pain management from the Wilford Hall U.S. Air Force Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. He also completed a pain management fellowship at Harvard Medical School, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. To better serve his patients, he received additional training in medical acupuncture for physicians from the Harvard Medical School.

After his residency training, Dr. Mirazita assumed duties as a staff anesthesiologist at the First Fighter Wing Hospital, Langley Air Force Base, Virginia. During his tenure at Langley, he served as the medical director of anesthesia services and founded the hospital’s first pain management clinic.

Dr. Mirazita joined Pain Solutions in 2002. Together with Dr. Suchdev, he has been instrumental in the clinical development of the practice. In addition to his clinical role, he serves as the medical director of Pain Solutions and assumes primary responsibility for the practice's quality assurance programs that have been created.

Dr. Mirazita is board certified in both anesthesiology and pain management by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA). He is also board certified by the American Board of Interventional Pain Physicians (ABIPP), and serves as a board examiner. He is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.

He has been named a New Hampshire Magazine “Top Doc” several times, most recently in 2020.
